KSI FileMaker Pro 2025 — Client Installers
Install the new FileMaker Pro client to keep working with KSI's databases.
Step 1 — Download the license file (everyone)

You'll point the installer at this file when it asks for your license. Save it somewhere you'll remember (Downloads is fine).
Step 2 — Download and run the installer
Windows
Download Windows installer 388 MB · .exe
- Click the link above to download.
- Double-click the downloaded file. If Windows asks "Do you want to allow this app to make changes?" — click Yes.
- Click through the wizard (Accept license, Next, Next).
- When prompted for your license, click Browse and select the
KSI-FMP22-License.fmcert file you downloaded in Step 1.
- Finish install.
Mac
Download Mac installer 253 MB · .dmg
- Click the link above to download.
- Double-click the downloaded file.
- Drag FileMaker Pro into the Applications folder.
- Eject the disk image.
- Open FileMaker Pro from Applications. macOS may ask to confirm the developer — click Open.
- When prompted for your license, click Browse and select the
KSI-FMP22-License.fmcert file you downloaded in Step 1.
iPhone / iPad
Open the App Store, find FileMaker Go, and update to version 22.
Step 3 — Connect to the KSI server
Add the KSI host (one-time setup)
- Open FileMaker Pro.
- If you see a "Sign in to Claris ID" prompt, click Cancel or Skip — you don't need it.
- From the menu, choose File → Hosts (or Open Remote on some versions).
- Click the + (plus) button to add a new host.
- Fill in:
- Host's Internet Address: portal.kemsea.com.au
- Favorite Host's Name: Kemsea
- Click Save (or Add).
- Select Kemsea in the hosts list — all KSI databases should appear.
- Click any database. When the login prompt appears, sign in with your usual KSI FileMaker username and password.
On iPhone/iPad with FileMaker Go: same idea — Launch Center → "+" → Hosts → Add → enter portal.kemsea.com.au and name Kemsea.
